Gallagher Rising Rugby Stars – Terms and Conditions

OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Competition dates

The Gallagher Rising Rugby Stars competition starts at 12pm on Friday 5 September 2025 and ends at 12pm on Monday 15 September 2025.

The Prize

The Gallagher Rising Rugby Stars Promotion consists of 10 individual prize experiences. Each Prize Experience will include:

• Two tickets to the All Blacks Captains Run on the afternoon (timings to be confirmed by NZ Rugby closer to the date) of Friday 26 September 2025 to be used by the Nominee, and the Nominee’s accompanying adult,
• The chance to watch the All Blacks captain's run on Friday 26 September 2025 before the All Blacks v Australia test at Eden Park on Saturday 27 September 2025. This  is the final training session for the team ahead of this Test match and is an opportunity to go behind the scenes and see the team train.
• The opportunity to meet and greet players after the captains run, and
• Two Gallagher caps for the Nominee and the Nominee’s accompanying adult to wear at the Captains Run

Prize winners will need to make their own way to the game. No travel or accommodation will be provided as part of the Prize Experience.

How to enter

Complete the nomination form with the name and age of your Gallagher Rising Rugby Star and tell us why they should win this prize experience, between 12pm on Friday 5 September 2025 and 12pm on Monday 15 September 2025 by clicking on the competition posts on either Facebook or Instagram. The specific competition posts will be live by 12pm on Friday 5 September 2025. Entries are restricted to one entry per entrant.

Entries will be invalid if they:

• Cannot be read or understood
• Are incomplete
• Break any intellectual property rights or are plagiarised
• Are discriminatory in any way, including racist, sexist, ableist, homophobic, transphobic or any other content we consider offensive.
• Do not comply with these terms and conditions
• Nominate a person who does not meet the eligibility requirements below

By entering the competition, you accept these terms and conditions.

Eligibility

Any New Zealand resident who is over 18 years old and who is a parent, guardian, relative or close family friend (the “Entrant”) may nominate a child aged between 8 and 12 years old to have a chance at winning a Gallagher Rising Rugby Star Prize Experience (the “Nominee”).

Employees of the Promoter and any agency involved with this Promotion, and the immediate families of such employees, are not eligible to redeem any prizes earned by participating in the Promotion.

The prize draw

The prize draw will take place on Monday 15 September 2025.

The first 10 entries that meet these terms and conditions, and you can be contacted, you will win the prize.

The team will contact the potential winner by the details provided on the nomination form. If the potential winner cannot be reached or does not contact Gallagher within 48 hours of the team’s attempt to contact them, they will forfeit the prize, and another entry will be drawn.

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. If for any reason the prize becomes unavailable, we may swap it for a similar or equal prize without notice.

By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to the use of their names, photographs and likeness for promotional/advertising purposes, and agree to make themselves reasonably available for this purpose. The ensuing copyright will rest with the Promoter, without any claim to compensation from the entrants.

All decisions made by the Promoter, its employees or agents are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Privacy

The Promoter collects and holds personal information provided by Entrants for the purposes of this Promotion and for future promotional purposes.

For the purposes of notifying winners and facilitating redemption of the Prizes, the Promoter may pass the winners’ personal details to its agencies and other associated organisations.

Failure to provide requested personal information may disqualify a person from being able to receive a Prize.

All personal information provided by entrants will be held by the Promoter. Under the Privacy Act 2020, entrants have the right to access and correct any such personal information.  Entrants may access and request correction of any of the details about them held by the Promoter by sending an email to marketingsupport@ajg.co.nz.

Liability exclusions: When we are not legally responsible

We will not be liable for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) connected to this competition or prize, or any act or omission by us, to the extent the law allows. This also applies to other organisations connected with this promotion. The only exceptions are for wilful default or gross negligence.

If an entry is not received due to any type of technical problem, organisations running this competition, including Gallagher, are not liable. 

For goods or services manufactured by third parties, we do not guarantee their quality or suitability for your circumstances. To the extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any loss due to using those goods or services.

Other conditions

We may change, extend, or cancel the competition or these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
