Gallagher has been our parent company since 2014 and we are proud to be part of one of the world's top three insurance brokerage, consulting and risk management firms.
By becoming Gallagher we move closer to our global family. You get the benefits of global connections and expertise combined with local understanding and support.
Our New Zealand insurance broking business is still run by two of the original founders, Steve Lockwood and Carl O'Shea.

Gallagher is one of the top three insurance brokerage and risk management companies in the world, with a network that provides services in more than 130 countries.
Previously known as Crombie Lockwood in New Zealand, we have a long history of helping New Zealanders with their insurance needs. Our local business, established in 1978, is still led by two of our Kiwi founders, Steve Lockwood and Carl O’Shea.

Making a difference for others
With our Gallagher colleagues, we support projects that make a difference for others, including our global partnership with World Rugby.
In New Zealand, we have teamed up with the New Zealand Provincial Rugby Group and its 14 major provincial rugby unions to support rugby, particularly at the grass-roots level.
As Official National Partner of these rugby unions, we collaborate on initiatives that develop and promote the sport of rugby throughout the country.
