We believe rugby has a significant role in building communities and via our partnerships with New Zealand Rugby and the Provincial Rugby Union Group we hope to give back to the communities that have supported us for over 45 years.

Since joining forces with New Zealand's 14 Provincial Rugby Unions in 2024, we've been committed to supporting the game at every level. Today, as one of only three national sponsors of the provincial rugby union group, we're proud to be the Official Insurance Partner, Insurance Broker and Official National Partner of all 14 Provincial Rugby Unions.

Gallagher Club Kickback
As the official insurance partner of the National Provincial Rugby Union group and Official Insurance Broker of New Zealand Rugby, Gallagher are helping grow our national game at every level for everyone.
At the foundation level of the game, community club rugby, we acknowledge that funding can be a real struggle for these volunteer based organisations. As part of our desire to give back to our communities, we created a means to assist rugby clubs with on-going financial support. We call it Club Kickback.
Club Kickback is fundraising with a difference. When a business associated with a rugby club chooses Gallagher Insurance as their trusted insurance adviser, we’ll donate 15% of our commission to the club. This isn’t a one-off initiative. We’ll continue to make this donation to the club for every year the business owner chooses to arrange their insurance renewal through us. New Zealand Rugby
In 2025 we expanded our support for rugby in New Zealand with a partnership with our Teams in Black. Gallagher becomes the Official Insurance Broker of NZR, and the brand will appear on both the training and match day shorts of all NZR’s national teams, including the All Blacks, Black Ferns, Māori All Blacks, and Sevens teams
Through this partnership, Gallagher will work alongside NZR to deliver local impact and create unforgettable matchday experiences for clients and fans around the world. Gallagher Insurance becomes a regional partner of multiple All Blacks Clinics a year, and the jersey partner for New Zealand referees across all domestic competitions from 2026 including DHL Super Rugby Pacific, Sky Super Rugby Aupiki, and Bunnings Warehouse Provincial Rugby. This reflects Gallagher Insurance’s commitment to protecting the rules and fairness of the game at all levels in New Zealand.
