How to take part

At Gallagher, we love golf and being active in the communities where we live and work. Across the year, selected corporate golf days will bring The Open Invitation to life through the Gallagher Closest to the Pin competition.
Take part in the competition and, if your shot finishes closest by the end of the day, you’ll be automatically entered into the grand draw.
No forms. No sign ups. Just swing, land the closest and hope your name is drawn.
The prize
A hosted experience for two at the 2027 New Zealand Open in Queenstown, valued at approximately $3,500.
The prize includes:
- Return airfares
- Accommodation
- Hosted hospitality within the Gallagher premium corporate lounge at the New Zealand Open.
The promotion runs from 15 April 2026 to 14 December 2026.

About the New Zealand Open
First played in 1907, the New Zealand Open is the pinnacle of professional golf in New Zealand. Hosted at the spectacular Millbrook Resort in Queenstown, it brings together top international professionals, rising stars and amateur competitors from around the world.
This unique pro‑am format creates an engaging experience for players and spectators alike. Broadcast to millions worldwide, the event not only showcases top‑tier golf but also highlights the beauty of New Zealand and the strength of our sporting culture.
Terms and conditions
The promotion runs from 15 April 2026 to 14 December 2026.
Entry is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over who participate in a golf day sponsored by Gallagher during the promotional period. To enter, participants must win the Closest to the Pin competition at the Gallagher‑sponsored golf day.
One winner will be drawn on 14 December 2026 and notified by 18 December 2026.
The prize consists of a New Zealand Open experience for two people and includes:
- Return economy Air New Zealand flights for two from the winner’s nearest New Zealand airport to Queenstown
- Both attendees must travel on the same flights
- Outbound travel on Friday 26 February 2027
- Return travel on Sunday 28 February or Monday 1 March 2027
- Three nights premium accommodation from Friday 26 February to Monday 1 March 2027 at Sudima Queenstown, or similar accommodation selected by Gallagher, in a double or twin‑share room
- Hosted hospitality for two in Gallagher’s corporate lounge at the 2027 New Zealand Open on Saturday 27 February and Sunday 28 February 2027
- All food and beverages provided within the Gallagher hospitality offering
